The last time I looked it up, there were more than 4,000 known species of frogs on earth, over 230,000 species of fish, and more than a million species of insects. Add to that hundreds of thousands of varieties of flowering plants, conifers, ferns, and mosses, and it becomes pretty obvious that there’s a Creative Force at work that has quite an imagination.
The tremendous variety of life forms and objects on our beautiful planet shows us every second that this is an abundant universe.
But can we see it? Or are we so immersed in the tiny world of our own limited perception that we forget to notice?
When I find myself focusing on an area of “lack” in my life, I look at the abundance in Nature and acknowledge the Creativity of our Unlimited Source. It’s a great reminder that the same Mind that created it all has the perfect solution for me.
Usually it comes as an uplifting thought and sometimes as a great idea. When the spark is ignited, we can see creative solutions, new opportunities, and greater possibilities.
In fact, you live in a Universal Mind of infinite possibilities and when you turn to It for your solutions and supply, your mind will open to a higher place in consciousness and your life will be transformed. It is at this point that amazing things start to happen.
You will see a greater road ahead. This is the Law of Infinite Possibilities in action.
The idea of greater and greater possibilities is one of the exciting principles of New Thought. When you get to that higher place, you can see further along your journey where all the greater goodies are alive in potential. Like hiking through the mountains, life is full of twists and turns, and new vistas are always there to be revealed.
When you practice this philosophy, Life becomes a magical journey of creativity. No more is it a hit-or-miss experience of good or bad fortune. You no longer live with the threat of unhappiness and disappointment. Instead, you see challenges to overcome with NEW THOUGHTS and a higher consciousness. You can even be grateful for the lesson.
When we’re given an example of wide-open possibilities, we say, “The sky’s the limit!”
But, really, the sky is NOT the limit.
New Thought teaches that there is no limit—that you have infinite possibilities for increased “good” in your life. When you get to that place you want to be, more and greater possibilities are revealed to you—and all of them GOOD.
When you practice New Thought principles you will use the power to create your own life in your own way. You do not have to settle for what’s been handed to you.
The sky is NEVER the limit.
