There are many great books, teachers, advisors, leaders, advocates, etc. that have brought our awareness to the changes that will improve our way of life as a whole. What ever the change, or changes, may be or how they are perceived, it is likely that we can all agree it is needed, on one level or another. The question is: How do we make the shift? How do we bring our efforts to be a better world in to being “the way” and not just “the way it should be?”
It is time to make the shift, and it takes each of us as individuals to make it from the inside out, if we want true change to occur. As we evolve as a society, it is our responsibility to make our visions of change a way of life. Shift will not happen in theory, it will happen in action.
I invite you to ask yourself: what do I want to change in our world? What do I want to change in my life? Whatever your answers may be, you have the power to make it “your way” and not just “a way it should be.” Live your life according to the change you want to create. If you want to put an end to violence, do not support it on any level, including music, movies, books, conversations, and/or interactions. If you want to protect the environment, open up to every way in your life that you can be mindful of it. If you want unity in religion; be honoring and accepting of others beliefs while staying firm in your own. If you want to put an end to poverty, or world hunger, start helping your favorite charity and/or community efforts to do so. The list can go on. In truth: There are many issues in our world that need to be addressed. If we choose to live our life according to the change that we believe in, shift will occur.
May we all shift our focus on to the peace and joy we are here to experience, and live our lives accordingly…
